A big welcome to everyone!

First of all may we take this opportunity to say a very big thank you for your lovely gifts at Christmas.  We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and wish you all a very happy and healthy 2024.

Last term was extremely busy and our little Santa elves were in their workshop making lots of christmassy crafts and getting our Santa grotto ready for our Christmas Fair.  It was such a lovely day and we hope that it was fun for all the families that were able to attend.  Again a very big thank you to everyone who donated items or their time to help make the fair a success.  We must say an extra big thank you to Francesca who walked up and down the high street asking for raffle donations.  Due to this we were lucky enough to have some lovely prizes donated.  We raised approximately £850.00 which is such a huge amount of money for us and we have been enjoying choosing some lovely new resources for the children to play with.

Moving on to this up and coming term, which is fortunately not quite as busy as last term.  Your child’s keyperson will be planning next steps for your child, based on observations they have undertaken and discussions held at the Parent’s Meetings.  Please make sure you check in with Tapestry so that you can see everything your child has been doing and what their next steps are.  We will also be sending home a piece of paper detailing your child’s next steps and how you can support them at home with this.  Our focus book for the term will be Stick Man by Julia Donaldson.   

A couple of things for your calender:

On 16th and 17th January we will be having a ‘Rainbow Day’.  So many children were showing a keen interest in Rainbows we thought it would be a fun way to develop their interest and ‘beat the January blues’ by everyone dressing up in bright colours so we can make our own rainbow. 

On Saturday 27th January is Parent mental health day.  In recognistions of this and the fantastic job you all do to support your children, we would like to invite you to take a break and  join us for a cup of coffee and cake morning on Friday 26th January from 9.15-10.30.  Please come along to meet and get to know other Parents.  Everyone welcome including siblings.

Dates for your diary
